Yoho’s Round Extendable Pedestal Table: A Functional and Stylish Addition to Your Space

This stunning dining table is a great choice to anchor your dining room. As a round extendable table, this design has all the benefits of a round table – it is easy to walk around and makes conversation easy. With the leaves added to the table, you can quickly accommodate a few more friends. Functionality is just the beginning of the story with this table, as the base is just as beautiful. This pedestal base has a visually interesting fluted design, and when you extend the table it splits into 2 half circles, making for a solid, supportive base for the table. The space between the two half circles is then clear and open. This base is appropriate for tables 42″ in diameter or more.

This table is a center extension table which means that there is a split in the middle of the table where it pulls apart. You can add one or both of the leaves here. With center extension tables, the grain always runs widthwise.

With pedestal dining tables, the trick is to get the size of the pedestal right. You want enough clearance from the edge of the table to the base for chairs and for guests. At the same time, you want the table overall to be stable. While adding weight to a smaller base can help provide stability, getting the proportions right is the key.

All of our tables are made from solid hardwood. As a natural product, each piece of wood has its own uniqueness.

• Natural wood has variation in the grain.
• Solid wood will expand and contract in different climates
• Most of our walnut has sap wood, which introduces some variance in color into the wood
